The UNFFT was incorporated in Oakland, California in March, 2010, and received 501 (C) (3) nonprofit status from the Internal Revenue Service in December, 2010. Composed of many committed volunteers around the world, we have aligned our efforts with many other advocacy groups to increase our voice for freedom in Tibet. Just in this past year our volunteers have accomplished an amazing amount of work, organizing public events and peaceful protests, providing news and educational resources regarding the political, economic and personal stories coming out of Tibet, circulating petitions and gathering the support of civic, political and religious leaders.

The UNFFT relies on contributions from friends around the world to continue to expand the scope of its work. The contributions of time and materials given by our volunteers have moved UNFFT forward dramatically in this past year, but we hope that you will also help sustain this effort through your donation. We’ve recently made that possible by creating an easy to use PayPal button that will securely direct your contribution to the UNFFT. Every contribution, no matter how large or small, matters! A financial contribution to UNFFT is one more way that you can participate in this global effort to work for a free Tibet and the preservation of Tibetan culture. We hope you will take a few minutes and make that commitment today.
